Conceptualizing, developing, and implementing Machine Learning models in production to generate business value- Identifying business needs and deep diving into classification, regression, and forecasting issues using SQL and scripting languages like Python
- Leading modeling efforts from conceptualization to implementation, keeping all relevant partners informed
- Applying understanding of advanced machine learning practices to enhance product performance
- Facilitating data-driven and informed decision-making and prioritization
- Proactively taking responsibility for your projects while tackling new challenges and learning new technologies
2+ years in a Data Science role- Ability to deep dive into mathematical topics (data science, machine learning, statistics)
- Problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and ability to implement creative solutions that tackle business problems.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, data warehouses, SQL and noSQL technologies and concepts.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R
- Good data querying skills using SQL
- Knowledge of git and git workflows
- Preferably an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as math, physics, computer science, statistics, etc.
- Experience in experimentation (especially A/B testing and cohort analysis) is a plus
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS is a plus.
- Experience with time-series modelling and energy data is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
